MAGIC EYE

Ok, I am going to try a little something different for this blog. A few years ago there were 3-D pictures that were pretty popular. So I have decided to try to put a couple on my blog and see if anyone can tell what they are.

There are a couple of ways of viewing the images: Crossing your eyes and diverging your eyes. Crossing your eyes occurs when you aim your eyes at a point between your eyes and an image; diverging your eyes occurs when your eyes are aimed at a point beyond the image. The pictures are designed to be seen by diverging the eyes. Here is one method at seeing the image.

Hold the image so that it touches your nose. (Ignore those who might be tempted to make comments about you.) Let the eyes relax, and stare vacantly off into space, as if looking through the image. Relax and become comfortable with the idea of observing the image, without looking at it. When you are relaxed and not crossing your eyes, move the image slowly away from your face. Perhaps an inch every two or three seconds. Keep looking through the image. Stop at a comfortable reading distance and keep staring . The most discipline is needed when something starts to "come in", because at that moment you'll instinctively try to look at the image rather than looking through it.

So I am going to add a couple of images and see if you can tell what they are.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

After you have tried to see these images don't dispare I will down load the images of the pictures that they are of on my next blog. Keep trying it's alot of fun.

Feeling better

Well, today I did a lot better. My mouth did not bother me at all today. Yeah!!!
I was really surprised, I thought it would still be hurting, since the dentist gave me pain pills. Guess I was just Blessed. Thank you Lord.

It rained here most ALL day, and it made it a little cooler. That was nice. It has been so hot lately, but I guess it has been hot everywhere. My friends in California tell me it's hotter there than it's ever been. And they have the humidity just like we do here. That's a surprise!! Hopefully it will rain again tomorrow, my yard really needs it. And maybe the weather will stay a little cooler for a few days. My electric bill is killing me. UGH

I hope everyone has a Blessed Thursday, it's almost TGIF, Yahoo!!!

More later, not much going on in this small town.

Relief

Well, I went to the dentist today, and boy, was I scared. Of course the first time you go to a new doctor or dentist you have to fill out a book on your self. When I got in the room and the doctor came in, they took my blood pressure (I'm taking meds to help control it)and it was a little high. The dentist was concerned, wanted me to be sure I told my regular doctor that my blood pressure was high. I told him it was high because I was there seeing him. DUH!!

He pulled my bad tooth and it took a while to get it out. I think he gave me like four shots to numb my mouth. Boy, did that hurt? Then after he finished and I went back to work (Yes, I can't afford not to work) my mouth stayed numb up until after I got home. It finally stopped bleeding around 9:00pm or so, the nurse told me it might bleed through the night. They called in some pain pills and mouth wash for me.
I'm not really in any pain right now, but I think I will take a pill before I go to bed just in case I wake up during the night hurting. Mostly my jaw hurts from the pressure he applied when pulling my tooth. What an experience!!!!

I still have a couple of other teeth that needs pulling but not today!!

Well, think I'll take that pill and go nity nite.

Till next time.

Pain, Pain, Pain

Well, I have suffered with a toothache for the past three days, and believe me it is not fun. That and an ear ache I think are the two worst things to have. But I broke down and called a dentist today and made me an appointment for tomorrow. With NO INSURANCE!!! This will be fun ;( NOT

The dentist is suppose to take payment plans, so maybe that will work out okay. And then it's the thought of what he will want to do with my tooth. OUCH, just thinking about it scares me. Every body say a little prayer for me, that I will be able to stand the whole ordeal. I don't like doctors and I don't like dentist. Can you tell??

On a happier note, we went to Burleson for the week-end and had a good visit. Got to see the grand kids at their swimming lessons, they are doing so good. And they love the water. We went out to eat at a wonderful Chinese restaurant and some of my sons' friends that I haven't seen in a while joined us for dinner. It was so good to see them. We always get to eat at great restaurants when we go up there. Nac doesn't have that big of a variety. Plenty of Mexican places to eat, tho.

Well, guess I will doctor my mouth and get to bed.
Till next time.

YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, today at work I got a surprising email from my Boss.
The Subject: raise not Ray's
I think he was trying to show some humor. HaHa

He thanked me for helping keep the wheels turning, and appreciated my perseverance.
And told me,on my next paycheck which is for this week,I will have a raise on it.
Not much but every little bit helps. Well, that made my DAY!!!!!

I'm glad everyone enjoyed my last blog. I still haven't heard back from her, and now that she realizes that she made a mistake I may not hear anything. Oh, well, some of the forwards she sent were pretty cool.

Yeah, tomorrow is Friday, I am so ready, this week seems like it has been so long.

Hope everyone has a Great Week-end.

Talk about WRONG e-mail addresses!!!!

Well, my last blog was a cute story, which I don't know if it is true or not. Todays' blog is true, and a little weird.

For a few months now I have been getting e-mail forwards from "Skip and Sharon" with and email address of Alaska. I just thought it was some one who got my email off of one of the other people I send forwards too. So I didn't think too much about it at first. They were sending cute things. Then I got curious, who is this person??
So I asked several people if they knew a Skip and Sharon in Alaska, and no one seems to know who they are. Hummmmm

Well, a couple of days ago I received another email from them that may explain the mystery.. Here is the email::

Hi, Honey
We arrived about 12:30 AM, we were delayed half and hour in Seattle, a fuel gage had to be replaced, but they were waiting for us.
We canned fish today,Skip and four other guys went net dipping and got 54 fish, we are going to have salmon tomorrow night, halibut tonight. They have some trips planned that sound fun.
The weather is cloudy but in the 60's it doesn't feel cold.
I will try to keep you or Diane posted on what we are doing if I have time, I'm sure I will.
Will you pass this on to her please.
I Love You
Mom

Guess what I'm not her daughter, so some how she got my email address mixed up with her daughter who is apparently named Linda, too. Weird, huh??

I emailed them back and told them they had made a mistake and I wasn't who they thought I was, sorry, and I haven't heard from them again, yet.
Maybe to embarrassed to email me back. Oh, well, a little excitement in my life.LOL

Till next time

Wrong E-Mail Address

Just thought I would share this little story with everyone and give you a good laugh!

The Title is: A lesson to be learned from typing the wrong e-mail address!

A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day. The husband checked into the hotel.
There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an e-mail to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her e-mail address, and without realizing his error, sent the e-mail.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack. The widow decided to check her e-mail expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife

Subject: I've Arrived

Date: October 16, 2005

I know you're suprised to hear from me. They have computers her now and your are allowed to send e-mails to your loved ones. I've just arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then!

Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.

P.S. Sure is freaking hot down here!!

New sites

Well, It really amazes me how in the big city they can have a new building up in no time. Here in Nac it takes forever.Example they have been building a Starbucks coffee shop for months now and this is the way it looks now, still nothing on the inside just the walls and doors.

Some one said it all depends on who the contractors are, well I guess we have slow ones!!!!

Not much going on around here, it's too hot to go outside so it's to work and home. And just stay in the A/C. Work isn't the greatest right now, but who knows things can be looking up for us. Rumor has it that the manager has sent his resumes out to other prospects, so maybe, just maybe he will be leaving us and terrorizing some other poor souls. Oh, yeah our manager throws fits and anything else he has in his hands. Doesn't matter if there are customers in the store or for that matter at his desk. And the Boss just looks the other way and says "that's just how he is". NOT!!

Well, guess I better get off my soap box and sign off for now. Will try to blog again sooner than before, Really!!!!

That's life in a small town...

As they say, No news is good News

Not much going on this week. We survived the 4th, went to my daughter's and ate with them, BBQ. Watched movies and then went down town to see the fireworks. They were pretty cool. Some even had shapes, (hearts, butterflies, and different others). Tried to take a few pictures with my digital camera, but they didn't turn out so good. Oh Well!!

Took Patrick to the doctor for his foot again, and he has fluid build up around the big toe joint. Ouch!! More medicine, and wear open shoes. Got to go back in two weeks to see if it is better then. Pleas keep him in your prayers.

Well, Wednesday the bosses nephew came back to work.. Apparently he ended up in the emergency room with high blood pressure, he already takes pills, now he has to go in every morning and get some kind of shot up under his shoulder blade, to keep the blood pressure down. So far he has been ok this week. No fits!!!

Thank God tomorrow is Friday, Yea! And I have to be at work early, so guess I better get off here and get some sleep.

Till next time,
This is my life in a small town!!!!!!!!!

I'm still here

Well, I know it's been a while but not much going on here. Patrick is still moaning and groaning, what can I say. He goes back to the doctor for his foot (gout) on Wednesday morning. Hopefully the doctor can do something to give him relief. And of course the allergies are still attacking both of us. UGH.

We had a little excitement at work, our manager decided to quit on Friday, but we all think he will be back. He's the bosses nephew. The boss thinks he will be back on Wednesday, we'll see!!!!!!

We work tomorrow and off for the 4th, which we have nothing planned. Down town they are have a little festival in the evening and doing fireworks at dark. We may try to go there for a little while if Patrick can walk around on his foot.

Well maybe I'll try to blog again on Tuesday.
Gotta' go to bed now.
