SORRY.........................

Well, I checked out this story on www.snopes.com and it is FALSE.
Sorry everyone, I guess it has been going around for a long time, and all over the nation. One place in California said it was a motorcycle gang that was doing the no lights thing. Oh, well, just needed to check it out for myself.
But I bet it gave you something to think about, huh?

Well, not much else tonight, so will blog more later.

Good Night!!!!!!!!!!

Houston Police and FBI cracking down on Gangs......

One of my co-workers told me about this, and if anyone does any research (John) let me know if its' true!!

Police officers working with the DARE program have issued this warning:
If you are driving after dark and see an on-coming car with no headlights on, DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM! This is a common Bloods member "initiation game" that goes like this: The new gang member under initiation drives with no headlights, and the first car to flash their headlights at him is now his "target".

He is now required to turn around and chase that car, then shoot and kill every individual in the vehicle in order to complete his initiation requirements. Police Depts across the nation are being warned. Their intent is to have all the new Bloods nationwide drive around on Friday and Saturday nights with their headllights off. In order to be accepted into the gang, they have to shoot and kill all individuals in the first auto that does a courtest flash to warn them that their lights are off.

Make sure you share this information with all drivers.

I have a bad habit of doing this, well, I guess I won't any more. And I sure hope it isn't true. But the way things are in Houston or any big city for that matter, it may be.

Not much else going on, so until later.

Wild Friday nite out..................

Wow, today I got invited out for dinner and a play, pretty cool.
Some ladies from church were getting together and called me to join them.
We ate at the Union Cafe, been open a couple of months, and of couse I had
fried shrimp(and they were huge), and GOOD.

After we ate we went to the Lamp-Lite Theater where we watched a musical.
It was called "Pump Boys and Dinettes" it was about guys who had a gas station on
Highway 57 and a diner across the street called the Double Cupp Diner. It was a
popular musical that played in Branson for years and across the country. It was
pretty funny too. One of the guys in it goes to our church sometimes. He was our
choir director at one time. They did a good job.

Now an update on Gaylon, my brother-in-law, he got to go home today from Houston.
Had to get some medicines and go to the family doctor on Monday for some lab work, but
seems to be doing good. Thank you Lord.
Rosie sure was ready to come home too.

Well it's late as usual, so guess I'll get off here for now.
God Bless and good-nite

Ok, so I watched some TV tonight...............

Nothing was on tv so I watched American Idol, ah...... it was ok, some pretty good music and still alot of contestants to choose from!!!! I liked Chris Daughtry, Kevin Covais, Elloit Yamin, Ace Young(****) and Kellie Pickler(kinda blond) but she sang good tonight. Now I have to wait till tomorrow nite to find out what the votes were. But it's on the same time as "Lost", so guess I will have to tape them to be able to watch them both.

And after watching American Idol I was flipping the channels and found another show called Nasville Star,
which was exactly like American Idol, except these singers were singing country songs. And they were good too. And people vote for them also but you have to wait a whole week for the results. OH WELL, I hope I can remember to watch next week. LOL

Thanks to all who were praying for my brother-in-law, Gaylon, he is doing alot better. He moved to a regular room today, and they removed most of his tubes, and he is eating and breathing alot better. Maybe he will get to come home by the end of the week or aleast the first of next week.

Again thanks!!!!!
Well, till next time.

Vacation Over----Back to the Grind!

Well, my friend Beverly went back home. Her flight was Monday evening at 6:37pm,
but was delayed, then she had a lay over in Denver, but they forgot to tell her it was
for 14 or 15 hours. She finally made it back to California today, Tuesday, at 2pm.
Next time get a straight through flight.

It was nice having a few days off, although didn't do much. Went to the Reunion Tower
down town Dallas and viewed everything from the top of the Dome while it rotated. WOW!

And of course back to work today, yuck. Same ole, same ole. But at least some of my work
was done, and not stacked up for me. Yeah.
It's late so guess I'll blog more later.
Good Nite.

OK it's Vacation Time Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was ready for a vacation, my friend from California came in and now I get to spend a few days with her before she goes home.

And today is MY BIRTHDAY!!!! So I took off work. Yeah, and tomorrow is my son(John's) birthday.
We are going up to his house in Burelson to celebrate with him too. And of course to see Jenny and the grandbabies, Lacye and Johnnie.

Spent 2 hours in the doctors office with my other son, Patrick. He's ok, just a check up and renewed medicines. This day seemed so long, but almost over now.

We also went and looked at an old house here in Nac- it was built in 1890. We were able to take pictures of it on the inside and out. My friend is friends with one of the family members of the house. He lives in California and wanted her to check it out and bring back pictures for him to see how it looks now.

My sister (Rosie) is in Houston with her husband(Gaylon) at St. Lukes Hospital, he is having open heart surgery in the morning at 6:30am, so everyone who believes in prayer please pray for them. For my brother-in-law to have a speedy recovery, the doctors to know what they are doing, and my sister to have compassion, and patience.

I know I have skipped around alot, but oh well!!!
It's late so till next time.

Happy Birthday JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it's hump day!!!!!

Finally, only two more days till the week-end. And then I get to see my grandchildren again. Well, it's not like I haven't seen them in along time, (just last week-end) but I still miss them.

I noticed again today, that people all around us have problems, and sometimes we think we are the only ones with major problems. But then you listen to others and realize that no matter how bad your's seem to be there are always others whose problems are worse. As I was reminded one time before, be thankful for what you have things could be a lot worse.

On a happier note, check out my daughter-in-law, Jenny's, blog she posted a picture that my granddaughter, Lacye did in school, and it is so cute.

And last I want to tell you about a story that one of my co-workers told me about her sister-in-law.
The sister-in-law had gotten a new truck, and was having problems with the locks. She was in the truck and the doors locked, getting frantic she was locked in didn't know what to do. Finally she saw that the passager door was not locked so she climbed out of it. Later she was telling the story and said, if she had thought about it she could have unrolled her drivers side window and used the key to unlock the door. DUH!!!!!!! And yes she is Blonde. LOL
