Taylor Hicks

Well, folks Taylor Hicks has signed a record label. That didn't take long, did it? I sort of miss watching the shows that I had on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, I sure will be glad when they start up again. Nothing but re-runs now!! Oh, well, maybe I will catch an episode I missed.

Memorial Day week-end was nice, I got to see my son, daughter-in-law and two grand-babies. Well, they aren't exactly babies any more. (3yr and 6yr olds) They grow so fast. I miss you all.

And of course we had another END OF MONTH at work. It wasn't so bad this time, tho. Seems like they come around way too soon. Here it is June already, half of this year is already gone. Where does time go????????

Trying to catch up

Last Saturday night Patrick and I went to a "Patriotic Pro Wrestling" at the expo center here
in Nacogdoches. There were a few old time WWE wrestlers there and a few new wrestlers.
There were two that live up in the Dallas area that wrestle on Thursday on Spike TV. Cool, huh?
Patrick thinks his world revolves around wrestling. I guess we all have to have something.
Anyways he got autographs and this picture made with a lot of the wrestlers. He was so
EXCITED. I also took my video camera and got some of it on video for him. (until my battery
went dead) OOPS.

Well, American Idol Fans..TAYLOR is your next American Idol, yeah or boo!!! Sorry,
Kat fans, she just didn't make it.

Of course they had a lot of singing and some silly things and some emotional things on the show
tonight. So until next season, when ever that is.

I'm getting excited about the 4400 coming back on, it will show on June 4, to catch everyone
up on it, it's an 11 hour marathon and then the recap is at 9:00pm that night.
And then the new season will begin on the next Sunday night, June 11th. It will be on at 8:00pm
and it will be a two-hour series premier. Yeah.:)

Well, guess I better get to bed, late again.

I'm Still Here..............................

Sorry, I haven't blogged for a while, but just haven't gotten around to it.

So, was everyone expecting Elliott to be sent home tonight? I think Katherina should have been the one,but maybe next week. Because I really think Taylor is going to be the next American Idol. Elliott's travel back home was emotional and he had a large following. WOW!!

And, Oh my gosh, "Lost" was good, too. Next week is the grand finale, and from the previews it looks like it is really going to be good. I can hardly wait. I didn't watch the first season, but my son, John, let me borrow the dvd's of it and it is awesome. I think I am hooked!!! It's sort of like reading a good book and you don't want to put it down. That's how these dvd's of the first season are to me.

Not much else going on here. Work sucks, but I just have to deal with it , so I tell myself everyday, I'm not going to let anything or anyone mess up my day. So far that has helped. :)

Well, maybe I can think of more later, so until then..........................

Shocked.........................

Well, is everybody as shocked as I am. They sent Chris home from American Idol!!!!!! I think he was as shocked as anyone. The look on his face was really something. He and Katharine were the bottom two.........
Next week should relly be good WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Lost" was really good too, but next week looks like it is really going to be great. It showed the "OTHERS" on the preview for next week show.

Well, only two more days until the week-end, Whoopeee.

Ugh...............

Do you ever fill like you just want to go to bed and sleep the day away? I think I could. I guess I'm just tired, so you say go to bed early and get some rest........well, I would but I can't go to sleep, toss and turn, toss and turn. Oh Well!!!!
On a happier note, Patrick and I went to Burleson this past week-end and had a good visit. Didn't really do much but just seeing John, Jenny, and the kids is always GREAT. Lacye had me laughing with a story she was telling me, and I guess it was about a puppet show they had at school. She was so funny telling it. (Had to have been there). And Johnnie is getting to be such a big boy and going to the bathroom now. It's been only a couple of days and I already miss them. :(

On our way home on Hwy 294 about 10 miles from Alto we saw about 8 or 10 wild hogs. They were pretty big too. Usually we might see some deer along the side of the road, but not this time. I bet my nephew Brian would like to have seen them, he likes to hog hunt.

I guess we will see who America votes off the American Idol show tomorrow night. Any guesses?????
Randy and Paula liked nearly all of the songs, but of course Simon didn't. Is he for REAL? Or does he just do that for the show, so the others down him for it..........Oh well, at least it's entertaining!!

And oh my gosh, I can hardly wait to see Lost tomorrow night. It is really getting good, now that the season is almost over. Suspense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FIRE in Nac.......................

Sunday morning a passing motorist noticed alot of smoke off the west loop in Nacogdoche. Yep, Jitterbugs was completely destroyed. They don't know how it started or why. The whole front page of the Monday's paper was about the club burning. At least no one was hurt and it was after hours when it burned.
The owners Robert and Bubba Y'Barbo don't know if they will try to rebuild it or not. Oh, well that looks like the smaller clubs, Sports Shack, Bull Frogs ,and the Electric Cowboy will be over filled.

On another note, our week-end went good I guess, Patrick went with the Church Saturday morning on Bless a Block, that is where they pick a house and mow their grass and rake leaves, etc. Most times they do several houses, but it had been raining and chances of more rain so they just did one house. I need them to do mine!!

And yes, I went in on Sunday afternoon to work to do End of Month, I'm so glad it's over with another month.
It took us nearly 3 hours, so we would have had to go in at 6:00am if we had waited until Monday morning to do it. Yuck!!! I'm not a morning person!!!:(

We did have a singing at our church on Sunday nite that we went too. That was pretty cool. We didn't make the one on Saturday night at Pollok.

I'm excited about Tuesday night and American Idol, I think I'm hooked.......... should be interesting it's getting down to the nitty griddy. Maybe Paris will be going this week, or Elliott. Just have to wait and see.
