Relief

Well, I went to the dentist today, and boy, was I scared. Of course the first time you go to a new doctor or dentist you have to fill out a book on your self. When I got in the room and the doctor came in, they took my blood pressure (I'm taking meds to help control it)and it was a little high. The dentist was concerned, wanted me to be sure I told my regular doctor that my blood pressure was high. I told him it was high because I was there seeing him. DUH!!

He pulled my bad tooth and it took a while to get it out. I think he gave me like four shots to numb my mouth. Boy, did that hurt? Then after he finished and I went back to work (Yes, I can't afford not to work) my mouth stayed numb up until after I got home. It finally stopped bleeding around 9:00pm or so, the nurse told me it might bleed through the night. They called in some pain pills and mouth wash for me.
I'm not really in any pain right now, but I think I will take a pill before I go to bed just in case I wake up during the night hurting. Mostly my jaw hurts from the pressure he applied when pulling my tooth. What an experience!!!!

I still have a couple of other teeth that needs pulling but not today!!

Well, think I'll take that pill and go nity nite.

Till next time.

Glad you are feeling better. I know that it might be tough right now because of how much it costs, but if it had gotten any worse, then you would have been willing to pay anything. It's miserable when you have a toothache. And much more when you know that it's not going to be cheap. But at least you got something out of it. You get to eat again. What's the use of going to yummy restaurants if you can't enjoy them.
